Moustache Transplant in Peshawar for Thin, Patchy or Uneven Growth
A moustache transplant places follicles from the back of your scalp into the upper lip, where they grow permanently and are trimmed and styled like the hair you were born with. It thickens sparse growth, fills the gap directly under the nose that many men never manage to close, evens out a moustache that grows heavier on one side, and restores hair over scars.
Upper lip hair grows almost flat against the skin, angled downward and inward toward the centre, and the skin itself is more mobile and more sensitive than anywhere else we transplant. Placed at the wrong angle, moustache grafts stand out from the lip permanently.
At Cosmetic Club N Clinic, every moustache transplant is designed and performed by a qualified plastic surgeon at Awan Tower, near Mercy Teaching Hospital on University Road, Peshawar. Your consultation is free and ends with a written per graft quote.
What a Moustache Transplant Can Fix
Sparse or Thin Growth
Hair that comes through fine and widely spaced, so the moustache never reads as solid no matter how long it is grown.
The Gap Under the Nose
The philtrum area, directly beneath the nose, is where growth most commonly fails. Closing it is one of the most requested procedures on this page.
Uneven or Asymmetrical Growth
Moustaches frequently grow heavier on one side. Grafts placed on the lighter side balance it.
Scars From Cleft Lip Repair, Injury or Burns
Hair does not grow through scar tissue. Grafts placed into and around a scar on the upper lip conceal it permanently, and for cleft repair patients this is often the final step of a long process.
Moustache Procedures at Cosmetic Club N Clinic
Density Filling

Philtrum and Central Gap Closure

Symmetry Correction

Scar Restoration

Moustache to Beard Connection
Bridging the corners so moustache and beard read as one, usually combined with beard grafting.
Correction of Previous Transplants
Redirecting grafts placed at incorrect angles by another clinic.
Why the Upper Lip Is the Most Technically Demanding Area
The Flattest Angles on the Face
Beard hair on the cheek is placed at an acute angle. Upper lip hair is placed flatter still, almost parallel to the skin, angling downward and inward toward the centre line. A graft set even slightly too upright will point outward from the lip for the rest of your life.
Direction Changes
Hair on the upper lip fans outward from the centre in a pattern that shifts within a very short distance. Following it graft by graft, rather than placing in a uniform direction, is what makes the result read as native growth.
Mobile, Sensitive Skin
The upper lip moves constantly and the tissue is thinner and more richly supplied with nerves than the scalp. It requires more anaesthetic, careful handling and a slower pace than any other transplant site.
Single Follicles Only
Moustache hair grows as single strands. Every graft placed here must be a single follicle sorted under magnification. A two hair graft on the upper lip is visible at conversational distance.

Your Moustache Transplant Journey, Step by Step
-
Consultation and Design
Your existing growth mapped, donor density checked, and the shape drawn on your lip with you. Graft numbers here are small, so precision in the plan matters more than volume.
-
Extraction
Follicles taken individually from the scalp donor zone by FUE. Only a small donor window is trimmed and it sits beneath the hair above it.
-
Placement at Upper Lip Angles
Grafts placed almost flat to the skin, following the fan pattern outward from the centre. This is the slowest placement work we do per graft, and deliberately so.
-
Same Day Discharge
A moustache session runs two to four hours. You go home the same afternoon with written aftercare.

Your Recovery, Week by Week
Days 1 to 3
Small crusts around each graft and swelling of the upper lip, which is more pronounced here than elsewhere on the face because the tissue is mobile. Eating and speaking are unaffected but the area feels tight.
Days 4 to 7
Crusts shed with the gentle washing routine we teach you. Redness fades
Days 8 to 10
The lip looks essentially normal. Careful shaving may resume on our instruction.
Weeks 3 to 8
Transplanted hairs shed. Expected and temporary.
Patient Reviews And Treatment Stories

The anaesthetic injections were the only uncomfortable part, and I ate lunch and used my phone through the rest of it. I was back at work within the week. What I notice now is the direction of the hairline, it grows forward the way my hair always did.

I travelled from Mardan having already been given three different prices over the phone elsewhere. Here they examined my scalp first, put the quote in writing, and that was exactly what I paid. The doctor explained why FUT suited my case rather than selling me the newer option.

Moustache Transplant Cost in Peshawar
Moustache transplants are priced per graft, confirmed in writing after examination. Grafts at Cosmetic Club N Clinic are priced between 40 and 50 rupees each, with packages beginning from PKR 15,000. Because the upper lip is a small area, graft counts are low, commonly between 350 and 900, which makes this among the most affordable procedures we perform. Judging it by graft count alone would be a mistake. Placement here is the slowest per graft of any transplant we do, because every follicle is a single unit set almost flat to the skin along a direction that changes across a few millimetres. What you are paying for is the angle, not the quantity.

Frequently Asked Questions About Moustache Transplants
Between 350 and 900 in most cases. Closing a central gap under the nose may take as few as 350, while building a full moustache from sparse growth is usually 700 to 900. Your figure comes from examination.
If the angles are correct, yes. Upper lip hair lies almost flat against the skin and fans outward from the centre. Grafts placed to follow that pattern are indistinguishable from native growth. Grafts placed upright are obvious, permanently, which is why this area rewards a careful surgeon.
Yes, from around day ten on our instruction and freely thereafter. The transplanted hair grows continuously and is styled exactly like the rest of your moustache.
It comes from the scalp, so it may grow slightly faster and straighter and will need trimming more often. Once trimmed to match, the difference is not apparent.
Yes. Hair does not regrow through scar tissue on its own, but grafts placed into and around the scar conceal it permanently. For patients who had cleft repair in childhood this is often the last remaining step.
Frequently, and it often should be. Connecting the moustache to the beard at both corners is what makes facial hair read as continuous rather than as separate patches.

My parting had been widening for years and I assumed a transplant meant shaving my head. Dr. Mohib explained the non-shave approach and I was seen privately throughout. A year on, my parting has closed and nobody outside my family knows
