Dental Implants in Peshawar
to Replace Missing Teeth
A dental implant is a small titanium post that replaces the root of a missing tooth, with a crown fixed on top so it looks, feels and bites like a natural tooth. At Cosmetic Club N Clinic in Peshawar our implants are placed by qualified dental surgeons and the crown on top is made in our own dental laboratory on University Road, which is what keeps the price down. Your first consultation is free, with an X-ray assessment of your bone and a written treatment plan before anything is decided.

Types of Dental Implant We Place
Single Tooth Implant
One implant and one crown replace a single missing tooth without touching the teeth either side. Unlike a dental bridge, which is filed down the neighbouring teeth to carry a false tooth, an implant stands on its own, so the healthy teeth around it are left alone. This is the most common implant we place.
Several Missing Teeth, Implant Bridge
Where two or more teeth in a row are missing, a small number of implants can carry a fixed bridge across the gap, rather than one implant per tooth. It replaces several teeth at a lower cost than individual implants while staying fixed in the mouth.
All-on-4 and Full Mouth Implants
A full arch of missing teeth, upper or lower, can be replaced on as few as four implants carrying a fixed set of teeth, often called All-on-4. It is the fixed alternative to a full denture for people who have lost most or all of their teeth, and it does not come out. Full mouth cases are assessed and quoted individually after a scan.
Implant Supported Denture
An existing loose denture can be anchored onto two or more implants so it clips firmly in place and stops slipping, a lower cost option than a full fixed arch for people who already wear a denture.
Honest comparison
Implants Compared With Bridges and Dentures
There are three ways to replace a missing tooth, and the honest choice depends on how many teeth are gone, your bone, and your budget. We fit all three, so the recommendation follows your case.
| Criterion | Dental implant | Dental bridge | Denture |
|---|---|---|---|
| Replaces the root | Yes | No | No |
| Neighbouring teeth touched | No | Filed down either side | No |
| Fixed or removable | Fixed | Fixed | Removable |
| Protects the jawbone | Yes, stops bone loss | No | No |
| Lifespan | 15 years to lifetime | 10 to 15 years | 5 to 8 years |
| Feels like a real tooth | Closest | Good | Least |
| Cost | Highest upfront | Middle | Lowest |
An implant is the only option that replaces the root, which is why it is the only one that stops the jawbone shrinking where a tooth is lost. It costs more upfront than a bridge or a denture, but it lasts far longer and does not damage the teeth around it, so over time it is often the better value. Where an implant is not the right answer for your bone or budget, we will tell you so and fit the option that is.
Candidacy
When a Dental Implant Is the Right Choice
An implant suits you if you have one or more missing teeth, or a tooth that cannot be saved and has to come out, and you want a fixed replacement rather than a removable one. It is also the way to secure a denture that keeps slipping.
Two things decide whether you can have one straight away. The first is bone: an implant needs enough jawbone to hold it, and where a tooth has been missing a long time the bone may have shrunk, which is why some patients need a bone graft or, in the upper back jaw, a sinus lift before or alongside the implant. The second is general health: uncontrolled diabetes and heavy smoking slow healing and lower the success rate, so we are honest at the consultation about whether an implant will take, and we would rather tell you to stabilise those first than place an implant that fails. Implants are not placed in children whose jaw is still growing.
- Enough jawbone — a graft or sinus lift where the bone has shrunk
- General health stabilised — uncontrolled diabetes and heavy smoking addressed first
- Not placed in children whose jaw is still growing
Step by step
How Dental Implants Work, Step by Step
The process is done in stages because the implant has to fuse to the bone, a natural process called osseointegration, and that takes time no clinic can rush safely.
First the tooth is assessed with an X-ray and, where needed, the site is prepared with a bone graft. The implant post is then placed into the jawbone under local anaesthesia in a short procedure that most patients find easier than they expect. Over the next three to six months the bone grows around the implant and locks it in place. Once it has fused, the abutment and the final crown, milled in our own laboratory and shade matched to your teeth, are fitted. In selected cases with good bone, a temporary tooth can be placed sooner, and we will tell you honestly at the consultation whether your case allows that.

Open about cost
The Implant Brands We Use
The implant post is where the brand matters, and it is a real cost difference, so we are open about it. We place internationally certified implant systems, from premium Swiss and German brands such as Straumann and Nobel Biocare through to well proven Korean systems such as Osstem and Dentium at a lower price. All are certified titanium implants with strong long term records. At your consultation we explain which systems we offer, what each costs, and which genuinely suits your case, rather than defaulting to the most expensive.

The owned-lab difference
Why Our Implants Cost Less
The crown that sits on top of the implant is milled in our own dental laboratory in the same building, so the outside lab fee that clinics normally add is gone, exactly as with our zirconia crowns. The implant post itself is a certified brand cost we do not cut, because the fixture is not the place to save money. What we remove from the total is the middle layer on the crown, not the quality of the implant. That is how a Cosmetic Club implant comes in below clinics that outsource the lab work.
What we remove is the middle layer on the crown, not the quality of the implant. The fixture is not the place to save money.
Patient reviews
Patient Reviews
"I lost a front tooth in an accident and was quoted a bridge that meant filing down two healthy teeth. Here they placed a single implant instead and left my other teeth alone. The crown was made in their own lab and matched perfectly. Nobody can tell which tooth it is."
Imran S., Peshawar Single tooth implant
"My lower denture never stayed in. They were honest that a full fixed arch was more than I needed and secured my denture on two implants instead, at a fraction of the cost. It clips in and stays put now."

Looking after it
Looking After Your Implants
A dental implant is cared for like a natural tooth: brush twice a day, clean between the teeth, and keep your scaling and check ups, because the gum and bone around an implant need looking after just as a tooth does. Kept clean, an implant commonly lasts fifteen years or more, and often a lifetime, while the crown on top can be replaced later if it ever wears. Smoking is the single biggest thing that shortens an implant's life, so cutting down protects your investment.
- Brush twice a day and clean between the teeth
- Keep your scaling and check ups — the gum and bone need it too
- The crown can be replaced later if it ever wears, without touching the implant

Frequently Asked Questions About Dental Implants
A well cared for implant commonly lasts fifteen years or more, and often a lifetime, because the titanium post fuses permanently to the jawbone. The crown on top can wear over the years and be replaced without disturbing the implant. Keeping the implant clean and not smoking are what make it last.
The placement is done under local anaesthesia, so you feel nothing during it, and most patients say it was easier than a tooth extraction. There is usually mild soreness for a few days afterwards that ordinary painkillers control. Tell us if you are anxious and we will pace the appointment for you.
One missing tooth is usually best replaced with a single implant that leaves the neighbouring teeth untouched. Several missing teeth in a row can be carried on an implant bridge. A whole arch of missing teeth can be replaced on four implants with All-on-4. We assess how many teeth are missing and your bone, then recommend the option that fits.
An implant replaces the tooth root and leaves the teeth either side untouched, while a bridge is fixed by filing down those neighbouring teeth. An implant lasts longer and protects the jawbone, but costs more upfront. A bridge is quicker and cheaper. We recommend an implant where the bone and budget allow, and a bridge where they do not.
Often yes, but with care. Well controlled diabetes is usually fine. Uncontrolled diabetes and heavy smoking slow healing and lower the success rate, so we assess this honestly and may ask you to stabilise your sugar or cut down smoking first, because we would rather do that than place an implant likely to fail.
