to Replace Missing Teeth
A denture is a removable set of artificial teeth that replaces missing teeth and the gum around them, restoring your bite, your speech and the shape of your face. At Cosmetic Club N Clinic in Peshawar our dentures are made by qualified dental surgeons in our own dental laboratory on University Road. Your first consultation is free, with a written quote before any work begins.

Options
Types of Denture We Make
Complete Dentures
A full set that replaces all the teeth in the upper jaw, the lower jaw, or both, for people who have lost all their teeth. The denture rests on the gum and is shaped to support the lips and cheeks so the face does not look sunken.
Partial Dentures
Where some natural teeth remain, a partial denture fills the gaps and clips to the remaining teeth. It replaces several missing teeth at once and is the affordable alternative to a bridge or multiple implants.
Flexible Dentures
A partial denture made from a light, flexible material with no metal clasps, so it is more comfortable and the fixings do not show. It suits people who want a partial that is barely noticeable.
Cobalt Chrome Dentures
A partial denture built on a thin, strong metal framework rather than all acrylic. It is lighter in the mouth, lasts longer, and is the hard wearing choice for a partial you will use for many years.
Immediate Dentures
A denture fitted on the same day your teeth are removed, so you never have to go without teeth while the gum heals. It is adjusted or relined once healing settles, and we will tell you at the consultation whether your case suits one.
Implant Retained Dentures
A denture that clips onto two or more dental implants so it stays firmly in place and does not slip or need adhesive. It is the most stable kind of denture and the answer for anyone whose lower denture keeps moving.
Honest comparison
Dentures Compared With Bridges and Implants
There are three ways to replace missing teeth, and the honest choice depends on how many are gone, your jawbone and your budget. We fit all three, so the advice follows your case rather than the highest price.
| Criterion | Denture | Dental bridge | Dental implant |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fixed or removable | Removable | Fixed | Fixed |
| Replaces many teeth | Yes, easily | A few in a row | Yes, at higher cost |
| Neighbouring teeth touched | No | Filed down either side | No |
| Protects the jawbone | No | No | Yes |
| Cost | Lowest | Middle | Highest |
| Lifespan | 5 to 8 years | 10 to 15 years | 15 years to lifetime |
| Best for | Many missing teeth, budget | A single gap between teeth | A lasting, fixed result |
A denture is the most affordable way to replace many teeth and the quickest to fit, which is why it remains the right answer for a great many patients. If you want something fixed that does not come out, a bridge suits a small gap and a dental implant suits a lasting replacement, and where a denture keeps slipping, anchoring it onto implants gives you the best of both. We will tell you honestly which fits your mouth and your budget.
Honest triage
Who Dentures Are For
Dentures suit you if you have several or all of your teeth missing and want to restore your bite, speech and appearance without the cost of a full set of implants. They are also the fastest route back to a complete smile, and an immediate denture means you need never be seen without teeth.
They are not the only option, and we say so honestly. If you are missing a single tooth, an implant or a bridge is usually the better fixed choice. If your main complaint is a lower denture that will not stay in, implants to anchor it solve that directly. But for replacing many teeth affordably, and for restoring a face that has lost its support, a well made denture does a job nothing else does at the price.
- Several or all teeth missing, restored affordably and quickly
- A single missing tooth is usually better served by an implant or bridge
- A lower denture that will not stay in is solved by anchoring it onto implants
Made, not bought
How Your Denture Is Made
A denture is built over a few short visits, not rushed, because the fit is what makes it comfortable. We take impressions of your gums, record how your jaws meet, and try in a wax version so you can see and approve the look before it is finished. The final denture is then made in our own laboratory and fitted, and the bite is adjusted over one or two follow up visits until it feels right. Speech and eating take a little getting used to, usually two to six weeks, and we guide you through that settling in period rather than sending you off with a new denture and no support.

Same-day service
Denture Repair and Reline, Done in House
A denture that has cracked, chipped or lost a tooth can usually be repaired the same day, because our laboratory is in the same building rather than in another city. Over time the gum underneath a denture changes shape and the denture loosens, and a reline re-fits the base to your gum so it holds again, far cheaper than a new denture. If your denture is loose, sore or broken, bring it in before buying a new one, because often it can be made to fit again.
- Cracked dentures or lost teeth — usually repaired same day
- Loose dentures relined to fit your gum again
- Bring yours in before buying a new one
Patient reviews
Patient Reviews
"I had my last few teeth removed and walked out the same day with a full denture, so I was never seen without teeth. It took a few weeks to eat normally, which they warned me about honestly, and now it feels like my own."
Gul N., Peshawar Immediate complete denture
"My old denture had gone loose and I assumed I needed a new one. They relined it the same day for a fraction of the price of a replacement and it fits properly again. They could have just sold me a new set."

Looking after them
Living With Your Dentures
A denture lasts longer and stays comfortable with simple care: take it out at night to rest the gums, brush it daily with a denture brush, soak it overnight, and rinse it after meals. Have the fit checked once a year, because the gum slowly changes shape and a reline every two to three years keeps the denture holding well. Keep up your own scaling and check ups for any remaining teeth, since a partial denture relies on them. A denture that starts to slip or rub is telling you it needs adjusting, not replacing, so bring it in.
- Take the denture out at night to rest your gums
- Brush daily with a denture brush, soak overnight, rinse after meals
- Fit checked yearly; reline every two to three years as your gum changes
- Keep up scaling and check ups for any remaining teeth
- If it slips or rubs, bring it in — it needs adjusting, not replacing

Frequently Asked Questions About Dentures
An acrylic denture lasts about five to eight years and a metal framework denture longer, with a reline every two to three years to keep the fit as your gums change shape. Looking after it and having the fit checked yearly are what make it last.
A new denture feels strange for a few weeks and can cause a sore spot or two while it settles, which we adjust at your follow up visits. It should not hurt once fitted properly. If a denture rubs or slips, it needs adjusting, so bring it in rather than putting up with it.
Speech feels a little different for the first couple of weeks and eating harder foods usually returns to normal within four to six weeks. We guide you through this settling in period and adjust the denture as needed, so you are not left to manage on your own.
A flexible denture has no metal clasps, so it is more comfortable and the fixings do not show, which suits a partial you want hidden. An acrylic denture is cheaper and easy to reline and repair. A cobalt chrome framework is the most hard wearing. We recommend the one that fits your case and budget.
A denture is removable, replaces many teeth affordably and is fitted quickly. A dental implant is fixed, protects the jawbone and lasts far longer, but costs more. Many patients choose a denture for cost and speed, and where a lower denture keeps slipping, we can anchor it onto implants for a firm hold.
Usually yes, and often the same day, because our laboratory is on site. A cracked denture or one that has lost a tooth is repaired, and a loose denture is relined to fit your gum again, both far cheaper than a replacement. Bring it in before buying a new one.
